christmas decorating ideas for dining room buffet
hey cruisers i'm sheri with cruisetipstv with an evening by evening look at the main dining room food from our 10 night cruise onboard star princess will also share our brunch experience midway through our night one appetizers included spring roll a creamed artichoke bisque and a tangy horse radish spiked shrimp cocktail which was
available every night on the princess favorites menu for our entrees we chose the bossa filet with pineapple papaya salsa and potato cakes kids spaghetti and meatballs our son's favorite for the remainder of the cruise and the featured curtis stone seafoods stew which is flavored with fennel we barely had room for dessert but here's a look at the
flourless chocolate cake and the love boat volcano from the kids menu and a traditional creme brulee on night two i was thrilled to see the goat cheese soufflã© from previous cruises along with mushroom soup gnocchi with tomato basil sauce a big lettuce salad with shallot vinaigrette and lemon and thyme infused strawberry sorbet as our palate cleanser
we enjoyed orange roughy and seared scallops with the three citrus beurre blanc as our entree for desserts a traditional cheesecake and chocolate lovers delight on the third evening we enjoyed the captain's welcome dinner we started with applewood smoked duck breast the cranberry blackberry relish crab quiche of fun
take on a waldorf salad french onion soup a green salad and a tasty pasta dish prepared off the menu and presented by our head waiter pan-seared barramundi and a combination of shrimp danielle and the grilled medallions of beef rounded out tonight's entrees tonight desserts seemed extra specials with the cheesecake again the chocolate hazelnut bar from the
chocolate journeys menu mouth-watering bananas foster alamode and some extra little sweets night four brought a variety of tastes starting with the chicken liver tartlets with fried onions another lovely green salad tempura sushi and an appetizer sized spaghetti carbonara a grilled salmon from the prince of favorites menu fettuccini
alfredo with meatballs by request and curtis stone's chicken and leek pot pie speaking of comfort food and we closed our meal with a perfectly-cooked soufflã© and a frozen chocolate praline tort on our fifth evening we retreated to a caprese salad on special request from the headwaiter and a delicious spicy gazpacho here's a look at the kids entre hamburgers
tilapia with orange hollandaise and beef stroganoff that had me wishing for seconds we finished our meal with apple strudel ala mode and chocolate journeys coconut mousse night six began with chilled apple celery soup and a mushroom tartlet we tried the vegetarians tempura entree as
well as linguine with pesto and potato orange roughy and good old fashion prime rib the vodka lime sorbet was the perfect light close to a heavy meal ready to see what brunch is like in the main dining room? we tried the granola the muffuletta sandwich french toast and the fish fry for dessert a pineapple trifle apple tart with
custard and a rich chocolate pecan pie now back to dinner for our first course on night seven we enjoyed the granny smith soup warm crab and artichoke dip and surf and turf followed by pad thai for our entrees no room for dessert tonight folks are eighth night on board was italian themed so we started with the peach bellini soup chef special penne
arrabiata eggplant parmesan and mixed greens with picarino and pine nuts the mahi-mahi and breaded chicken entrees were excellent choices for desserts the casada siciliana tiramisu and a sorbet and gelato trilogy our night nine starters included a simple rice paper wrap crab scallops shrimp salad with caviar chilled apple
yogurt soup and roasted tomato cream soup for our main courses and the beef wellington and the rockfish with a lobster tail by request and of course the chocolate journeys pistachio dome and floating islands on our last night on board we began a meal with chilled pumpkin cream soup watermelon and feta cheese salad and a grilled zuchini eggplant
