take a leap of faith because she gave us great end results, and sheguided us in the right way, and we got an outcomethat looks fantastic. (upbeat music) because we're at out in the suburbs, it needed to be a place thatattracted the whole gamut of what our customers could be. so we didn't want men to be turned off because the place was a bit girly.

we didn't want seniors to be turned off because it just looked a bit too trendy, and inaccessible and that sort of thing. so that kind of featured in the process that, you know, we wantedthose factors to be put in. and our constant goal is toopen a cafe for the locals, that would attract the locals. we used a consultant to help us with the bits of the business weweren't quite familiar with

and he, we talked about, you know, we'd love a set up that lookedreally nice and polished. he sent us trisha's details and we go in touch andshe got in touch with us and that's how it all started. she came in and she did aninitial consultation with us, and she looked at our concept 'cause we had very clearideas of what sort of cafe we wanted to be and whatthe mood needed to be like

and things like that. then she also talked about incorporating some of our personality into this, so she gave us all of these techniques to sort of identify colours that we liked, styles that we liked and that. so that our cafe could embodysome of our personality in it as well as made our concept. and from there we were ableto pick out the colours

and the design, and thefeel and the atmosphere of the cafe. because we love timber butalso on trisha's recommendation that formed the basis ofthe materials we would use. then we brought in the white because we wanted the placeto be open, airy, light, attractive and comfortable. and then with trish weworked through colours that we, both myself and leah, would like.

it's featured colours, it'show the pops of red came out, and the orange pots and the green wall which so many customerscomment on and love. and i have to say, we love it as well. it just adds thatnaturalness to the place. trish was incredibly accommodating around taking more a consultativeapproach with us and we did a lot of the hands-on,and the sourcing and the finding but her direction and her guidance

on exactly what we shouldlook for was great. it was very specific,it made our job easy. the other aspect was, dealing with trish was, it was a real pleasure. not only is she warm anda great person to talk to, and work with, that wereobliging and easy to approach, but she's very proactive. so, you know, she adjusted, as you do in any sort of situation

when you've got aninterior that's been built and different personalities, and it was always, like, uncertainty or, "should we try this," and things like that.and she was really great with her patience, and guiding us, and making sure thatwe came to a resolution that we, myself and leah, were comfortable with, but that ended up being farmore spectacular, i guess, than we could have imagined, to be honest.
