decorating dining room table with candles
living arrangements with nico de swertpottery barn hi i'm nico de swert, i'm a floral designer and interior stylist. we're going to make our holiday dining centerpiece, which is going to consist of two separate pieces. the first one is this beautiful rattan tray that i found. and we have three bosphorus bowls these beautiful pillar candles from pottery barn which are four by four and a half inches. and we fill the tray up with christmas ornaments
and basically they're old christmas ornaments that i had in my attic uh some of them i bought it flower marketthey're very inexpensive they're glass ornaments like that what i do is i just basically takeoff where hang it normally in the tree with, and this is a perfect vessel that you're gonna use for your flowers in the tray. and just with a squeeze bottle like that you justfill it up with water just like that all the way to the top because an orchid has a very short stem so you have to make sure
that you fill the water all the way to the top, and just putting that in a tray we have these beautiful phalaenopsis orchidsin a beautiful magenta, and we have these beautiful green cymbidium orchids so we're gonna start with the cymbidium orchids, anywhere where i have an ornament with water then we're putting them into the vessels into our little ornament vessels that we have
all over the tray very easy easy to do, inexpensive and it's going to create such a beautiful statement on your dining room table these beautiful phalaenopsis orchids and just kind of intermingle the green ones with
the pink ones, just like that very simple and this is gonna be such a beautiful statement on your dining room table once we have some candles lit this is all gonna beautifully glisten up on your table,really special it looks kind of complicated it's really simple to do just adding your ornaments, the orchids to the ornaments and that's really all there is to it it's very very simple
and that's basically it, voila there's your centerpiece for the holidays. pottery barn
