videos. place the floral foam, which has been soakedin lukewarm water for at least 30 minutes, into the smaller vase, and then put the smallervase into the larger one. we recommend using a smaller vessel insidea larger glass container to keep the fruits and flowers separated since the acidity ofthe lemons can shorten the vase life of the flowers. cut 4 to 5 lemons into 1/2 a centimetre or1/4 of inch-thick slices and wedge them in between the two containers to keep them inplace. line the inside of the vase with layers oflemon slices until no more floral foam is


showing. remove all but the top most leaves form allflower stems. shorten the stems and start arranging theflowers, so they hang forward over the edge of the vase. work your way around the container and thenfill up the middle of the arrangement. mix the flowers often to create an interestingand varied look, and try to form a domed shape. as a final touch, add a few billy balls hereand there into the centrepiece. the lemon slices will look fresh for threedays, the flowers for up to a week if the arrangement is displayed in a cooler placeout of direct sunlight.
